Industrially Safe Demo Disk #37 [2017]

Finally, a year after Outline 2016, we have completed this Industrially Safe Demo Disk.  This disk features a full overscan intro, sub menu and new loading system.

The new loading system implemented means that if the program loaded from the sub-menu crashes the Atari, on machine reset the intro will be skipped and the sub-menu loaded instead.  This should save time and aggravation from waiting for the intro to re-load each time there is a problem and a the machine is reset – baring in mind we release some quite old and some disk-filed programs, this is a useful feature in my opinion, as sometimes the system crashes on exit of these types of programs.  Although the intro is superb, you can have too much of a good thing lol.  Thanks to Ben of Overlanders for coding this neat routine for us.

If you witness any issues with the new loading system, please get in touch and let us know so we can diagnose, with your machine spec and motherboard revision if possible.

Deja Vu [2017] / [2019]

Our first [re-]release of 2019, and maybe the first from the Atari ST demoscene?

Anyway, here is it!  A trackmo demo originally released at Silly Venture 2k17.  Originally, there were some bugs and hardware issues with this demo when released which have now been fixed.

This is the final release of Deja Vu and features a series of demo effects accompanied by some SID music by No More of Animal Mine.

Code – Bod and Tronic

Graphics – Samurai, Pandafox, Blaze and Bod
Music – No More of Animal Mine

Hunter [2018]

A one screen demo with a sync scroller over a Spectrum 512 colour picture, playing some awesome retro chip tuneage by Mad Max. Released at Silly Venture, 2018. We managed to place 3rd in the 96Kb intro competition.

After some hard work by Samurai of Effect on this image, he found out, from AdamK, that the entry was not valid as it was not a standard 16 STF colour. Where there is a will, there is a way! So… Samurai and I (Tronic) put together this intro in less than an hour and submitted it instead. It made our, and AdamK’s, day!

Code by Bod
Graphics by Samurai
Music by Mad Max

Released at Silly Venture, 2018. We got 3rd place in the 96Kb intro competition.

Atari Through the Generations [2016]

A multipart demo featuring some great retro style effects with signature kick-ass music from Xrwwr.  Unfortunately, due to ill health at that time, Bod struggled with this release and it ended up being a lot shorter than we planned with far less effects.

Industrially Safe 93 16×16 Sprite Record Demo [2015]

The infamous 16×16 2-bitplane sprite record that plagued the Atari scene for years. This is a ten year tribute to Leonard’s record. It doesn’t come near the record (or the original TCB version from 1989) but we gave it a try and it does feature a nice remix of the SOS tune using PWM sound effects by Xrwwr of Effect.
